Track Of The Day – Generation – I Like It

Today’s  track of the day ‘ I Like It” comes from glam punk newcomers Generation from their debut EP ‘Who Loves This Generation? ‘  The Liverpool-based quartet who comprise of brothers James and Dean Carne on guitar and vocals plus band mates Nathan Sanderson, Drums, and Tom Collins on Bass have been making a name for themselves locally with their explosive live performances. And they have managed to capture that raw live energy on a debut EP that matches intensity and melody in equal measure. The EP is a perfect introduction to the band, and it fizzes along at breakneck speed with each song barely hitting the two and a half minute mark. But Generation make a virtue out of brevity by packing in more excitement than some bands can muster over an entire career.
