Lazy Talk sound like the kind of musical collective who could fill the void left by bands like The King Blues, producing literate intelligent songs that you can dance to whilst flicking defiant “V’s” at the system. On the evidence of this track ‘Luzaville’ (from their début EP release on February 25th) there’s certainly a touch of Joe Strummer fused with Plan and about the vocal as they blend reggae, ska, and punk to produce something au courant and fresh. Let the revolution begin 😉
