We introduced French Post-punk indie popsters Cheri Cheri Jaguar’s debut single ‘Jaguar / ICE’ released via Haus Of Pins back in October 2013. They return with a fantastic new Ep, ‘Collapsing Vapor’ released on their own label Pillow Talk. It’s nervy thrusting agit pop of the highest order mixing the moody monochrome nihilism of bands such as Joy Division, spiraling dark psychedelia and classic indie pop hooks.
The band who consist of Sacha (Vocals, Synth), Arthur (Guitar), Malik (Drums) and Alex (Bass, Synth) describe the Ep, which is streaming in full below as “a pop noire” graduation, going from the lightest to the darkest sound/from light to darkness. They are revengeful songs denouncing love songs’ inadequacy”
