Track Of The Day – Foxes- “In Her Arms”

In case you didn’t know Foxes isn’t a band but the name Southampton born Louisa Rose Allen has adopted for her musical musings.  We featured her as our Track Of The Day back in April HERE and it seems with every new release she takes colossal sonic steps forward.  “In Her Arms” has a mystical, seductive edge, but not in the “incense and candle burning” bollocks du jour sense that seemed to be  favoured by almost every female singer who wanted to be considered a “serious artiste” a few years back. No, this is a track of substance with no artifice or gimmicks and once again highlights what a talent Louisa is.  It’s from her forthcoming EP “The Warrior” which is out on July 9th.
