Track Of The Day(2) – Mount Fabric – Curves And Corners

Curves and Corners is the new single from Mount Fabric, released on Crystalline Recordings on 02/07/12 and it’s breathtakingly good, figuratively speaking think Radiohead with massive testicles.  They’re also yet another fine band from Manchester, a city which is currently staking it’s claim to replace  Brighton’s as the  UK’s answer to Brooklyn, due to the simple fact that the diverse range of  high quality music currently emerging from the city is quite astonishing .

Curves And Corners starts slowly, spidery guitars and mournful vocals lock in a symbiotic dance before the explosive and all encompassing finale actually compelled us to indulge in some deeply shameful air guitar and drum action. These moves will thankfully not be appearing on you tube any time, like ever.
