Throbbing synths, sweeping strings and a relentless beat drive the song forward, but it’s Stacey DeLooze’s compelling vocal that really makes you sit up and listen. At times her breathtaking voice oscillates somewhere between the soaring operatic Goth pop of Zola Jesus and the snarling disdain of a young Alanis Morrissette. This is epic, fully formed brooding electronic majesty and DeLooze serves notice that her ‘Glass Army’ are on the march and set to take over the airwaves very soon. Listen and believe.
