We were intending to have a blog break this week but news of a new track from Blessa soon put paid to such foolish ideas. To say we are somewhat enamoured by their music is an understatement to rival the suggestion that Eric Pickles “quite likes pies.“ ‘Bloom’ is the stunning B-side to their dazzling début single ‘Between Times‘ (featured as a Track Of the Day last week ) and is another reflective slice of lustrous, exquisite aural gorgeousness. Recorded and mixed again by MJ of Hookworms at Suburban Home Studio, Leeds, it allows the longing beauty of Olivia’s heart-rending vocals to take centre stage and really move the listener. To be quite honest it’s f**king wonderful …..our love affair with Blessa continues apace ! There will be an interview with them here very soon !
