Video Of The Week – Dum Dum Girls -‘Are You Okay’ (By Bret Easton Ellis)

So this week’s video of the week, is another from Dum Dum Girls who seem to be taking things to another level both musically and visually. And there’s no doubt this is a bit special, centred around ‘Are You Okay‘ from DDG’s ‘Too True’ album it’s written by Bret Easton Ellis (who is a huge fanm)directed by Brewer, produced by Braxton Pope in conjunction with Noisey and MOCAtv, with creative direction from Tamaryn as well as a soundtrack composed by her and Drew McDowall.

It’s a beautifully shot, mini psychological thriller come pop video with echoes of the Three Faces of Eve, Spellbound and Dressed To Kill and features Dee Dee as a seemingly somewhat disturbed femme fatale. But is all as it seems? Answers on a postcard to Mr Easton Ellis.  In the meantime enjoy…
