Track Of The Day – Blessa – ‘Open Fields’

Blessa unveil another track from their forthcoming EP ‘Love Is An Evol Word’ and as expected, it’s another subtle slow burning beauty. The Sheffield based five-piece who recently told us they “were drawn to the concept of creating music based on the primary contrasts of light/dark and open/closed spaces” do just that on their beautiful languorous new track ‘Open Fields’.

We’ve made no secret of our admiration for Blessa’s music and there’s something incredibly liberating and inspiring about Blessa’s graceful fluidic literate dreampop. Music, which evokes a sense of freedom, of wanderlust and is infused with a deep sense of longing. This track was again recorded, mixed, & produced by MJ from Hookworms. The ‘Love Is An Evol Word’ EP is out 23rd June via Generator & Carmel Records.
