So it’s pretty much full on sleigh bells here at VPME Towers this week as we start to embrace the Xmas spirit like crazed spittle flecked Scouse elves. And talking of mad scousers …. today’s video of the week is from Merseyside comedian and quite possibly the finest rock star parodist around, Stevie Riks. If you’re not aware of his work check out his website here http://www.stevieriks.com/. Why he doesn’t yet have his own TV show is quite baffling given that he’s a thousand times funnier than the ubiquitous bland, safe panel show comedians who seem to dominate prime time TV.
Anyway check out his hilarious Band Aid parody video below, we haven’t quite decided who our favourite is yet but Mick Jagger, Ozzy, Bob Dylan and Elvis Costello are absolute genius.
