VIDEO OF THE WEEK – WOLF ALICE – ‘Giant Peach’

0

Yup, our video of the week is a quite frankly amazing ‘mockumentary’ from Wolf Alice, for their new single ‘Giant Peach’.  The band certainly have a knack for producing fantastic tongue in cheek videos which whilst being incredibly funny still manage to capture the power of their songs. At the same time, by not being cool the band actually manage to produce videos way cooler than the average clichéd pouty posturing that many artists indulge in (Is it post cool cool?) In this instance the video features the trials and tribulations of having a motormouth manager who appears to be more suited to managing Spinal Tap!  And the videos got the lot -from guitar licking leather clad rocking, a cameo from Keith from The Office, medieval Lute shredding and murder, it’s without doubt our favourite video of 2015 so far.

Wolf Alice’s debut album My Love Is Cool will be released through Dirty Hit Records in the UK on 22nd June 2015. Pre-Order My Love Is Cool here:  Track listing and art work is below
