Track Of The Day – Wolf Alice – ‘White Leather’

0

We’ve been listening to this for a good few weeks but being responsible digital media types (and on pain of death) we’ve kept it hush hush until now ! This is ‘White Leather’ by Wolf Alice the B-side to their forthcoming ‘Fluffy’ single which we featured a few weeks ago HERE. Oddly enough ‘White Leather’ whilst not being exactly  ‘fluffy’ is certainly softer in tone than the visceral melodious thrash of aforementioned single.  This tune is more reflective and showcases Ellie Rowsell’s languid sweet-sounding voice to maximum effect.  Somebody once said you can judge a band’s greatness by the quality of their B-sides, and so by that token and on this  evidence we can confidently say Wolf Alice are already well on their way to being considered a great band.
