The VPME Podcast – July 2019

Well, we’ve finally gotten round to doing another podcast. It’s been a long time coming due to life getting in the way. Anyway, we’ve had a word with ‘life’ and it assures us it will do its level best not to be such a fucking ballache in the future.

So it’s time for July’s VPME podcast featuring some of the best (mostly) new music we’ve heard over the last few months. From the dream-pop perfection of Hatchie to the visceral explosive power of Control Top to the dark brooding menace of Ice Baths and Drahla to the heartbreaking poetic beauty of Aaron West and The Roaring Twenties, there’s something for everyone, aside perhaps from Robbie Williams fans. And there’s an inordinately high number of Australian artists in the mix this month. Which is like, ripper mate!
