Track Of The Day – HONEYMOAN – False Idols

0

Last time we featured HONEYMOAN was back in April 2020 on our lockdown Podcast with their pulsating single “Too Much”. Little did we know then that the global pandemic would still be raging and Boris Johnson would still be talking utter shit – and getting away with it by dint of having stupid hair. Anyway, the Cape Town quartet’s latest release “False Idols”  from their upcoming EP ‘Palace’ is every bit as uplifting as their previous work as they combine propulsive electro-pop with driving guitars and soaring pop hooks.

Speaking about the track, singer Alison Rachel says, “‘False Idols’ is a triumphant story of success, a message to anyone to ever said you couldn’t do it, you were too young, too old, too scared, too whatever but you did it anyway and look at you now”.

‘Palace’ EP lands 18th August and is available for pre-order/pre-save here.
