We caught Black Honey live again recently,  a band we tipped back in 2013 even before they were Black Honey (see if you can spot ’em HERE.)  Once again they proved to be one of the most exciting live bands you’re likely to see. Gigging can also be an educational experience and we learnt a few important lessons.

For example, be very careful where you put your Black Honey temporary tattoo, available from their merch stall, as they are a bugger to wash off!  Having a song dedicated to you can actually make you blush – Singer Izzy’s remarkable scouse impersonation (which seemed to have got lost somewhere between Blaenau Ffestiniog and Birmingham ) is very much a work in progress, and the bands new songs such as ‘All My Pride,’ ‘Mothership’ and ‘Ysia’ provided yet more evidence that Black Honey’s future looks decidedly bright! If you’ve yet to see them live, we suggest you remedy that situation ASAP Smile
