Track Of The Day – Alvvays – In Undertow

0

Canadian jangle poppers Alvvays today announce their second album, Antisocialites, the hugely anticipated follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut album which became something of a touchstone for the lovelorn and heartbroken. The first fruits of the labours “In Undertow” is just wonderful, a soaring, wistful dreamy, bittersweet pop confection.  It’s everything you’d want from an Alvvays track, emotive, beautiful and full of tender longing.  The new album is described by singer and songwriter Molly Rankin as ” a fantasy breakup arc and my life nearly imitated art.”
