January 2026 felt like 2016 crammed into one month. Trump, Venezuela, Minnesota, Greenland, Iran, and Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. The latest Epstein files sparked fresh political fallout, and Sneaky Mandelson lost not only his trousers, but his Labour membership, peerage and last vestiges of any dignity over links revealed in the documents. On top of all that, we lost Catherine O’Hara, the brilliant actor and comedian beloved for Schitt’s Creek, Home Alone, Best in Show, and A Mighty Wind, among countless other roles.
