Bleach Lab : ‘Take It Slow’

South London-based band Bleach Lab are back with their new single and video ‘Take It Slow’ and have recently announced their signing to Nettwerk. I tipped them in Under The Radar’s Ones to watch in December 2020 and they’ve done nothing since to disabuse me of the view that their future is anything but incandescently bright.

“Take It Slow”
has the band’s trademark guitar shimmer complimenting Jenna Kyle’s dreamy vocals and introspective lyrics although on this occasion there is more hope than melancholia.

Lead singer Jenna Kyle says of the track, “‘Take It Slow’ is about finding your way and not wanting to rush through life without taking time to appreciate the view. ‘Trying to fit the space of a shape that you don’t know,’ refers to not getting stuck as someone that you don’t recognise by losing sight of yourself. It is very much about being and living in the moment, being present and trying to let go of anxieties of everyday life whilst trying to view things more positively.”
