Girl Scout : “All The Time And Everywhere”

Stockholm-based newcomers Girl Scout release a brand new track  ‘All The Time And Everywhere’ which is out now via  Made Records. It follows up their stonking debut single “Do You Remember Sally Moore?”

On the surface, it sounds like a beautifully crafted slice of laid-back indie pop, imbued with the sort of melodic slacker rock vibe that Evan Dando used to be so adept at in his pomp, However, the lyrics are at odds with the bright soundscape as front woman Emma Jansson explains: “This song is about anxiety following you around like a stray dog. I wrote this during a period of my life when I was constantly feeling nervous, and being around people I didn’t know made me feel vulnerable and uncomfortable. The feeling turns into an extension of yourself that you wish you could sever it from your body. In the end I guess you’re forced to make peace with it and just deal with life sometimes being an uncomfortable thing.”

Girl Scout are Emma Jansson (guitar, vocals), Evelina Arvidsson Eklind (bass, vocals), Per Lindberg (drums) and Viktor Spasov (guitar).
