The Cellophane Flowers are offering a preview of their début album the ‘Staring At The World’ album by releasing one track a month before the album comes out later in the year. We’ve previously streamed “Rock N Roll”and the latest tune the band have made available is ‘Voices.’ It’s a track that starts off like a slow burning torch song from the abysm of a Berlin nightclub and morphs into Nico fronting The Cure, kinda. The début album appears to be shaping up rather nicely indeed !
To digress slightly, talking of “Voices,” can we just add ours to the chorus of sympathy for Londoners at having to endure not only transport chaos, but also Boris Johnson’s oafish blatherings over the London Underground tannoy during the Olympics (see below) We share your pain. Our advice ? Pop your ear phones in and listen To The Cellophane Flowers instead 😉
