Another day, another spectacular new song from LUSTS. Leicester born brothers James and Andy Stone have announced their second single for 1965 Records in the form of the majestic rush that is ‘Mouthwash.’ Its available via digital download from today,( 23/3/15) and will be out on 7” vinyl release at a later date featuring two tracks on the B side – ‘Dive’ and the instrumental ‘Disappear’.
Having featured them heavily over the last few months, and introduced their last single on Amazing Radio we caught them supporting Coves recently and were blown away by their live sound, and a set rammed with great songs. Again there are nods to the chiming, soaring melodies of bands like the Bunnymen, but LUSTS take their influences and fashion them into something that is exhilaratingly and uniquely their own. LUSTS are surely destined for great things based on what we have seen and heard so far.
