Lolas: The Stars Go Home And Cry

Formerly of Sheffield indie poppers The Seamonsters Naomi Mann and Fizz Smith have emerged as a dream pop duo Lolas with the shimmering space pop of “The Stars Go Home And Cry.”

It’s certainly nothing like their jaunty Xmas debut single a couple of years back and represents of new, more refined stylistic shift from the duo who have been friends since they were “knee high to a grasshopper” ( a popular phrase in Yorkshire apparently, if you believe the old Hovis adverts.)  The track itself is inspired by “feelings of longing and a sense of false hope at the end of a relationship.”

All Things LOLAS

It’s backed with the equally evoctive “Cherry Police “
